Academically, Harris Girls' Academy Bromley is one of the most successful schools in the country. With a Provisional Progress 8 of 1.09, our progress is amongst the very best of schools in the country and we believe that this is a result of high quality teaching, advice and guidance, alongside a carefully designed curriculum. We encourage the girls to explore as many subjects as possible at Key Stage 3, before specialising at Key Stages 4 and 5 and believe that it is important for the girls to study a language and humanities alongside other subjects such as Art, Drama, Photography, Classics and Latin. The girls are guided and supported to ensure that the subjects that they choose to study at GCSE and at A-level, give them the best choice about what they want to do in the future; whether that is to go off to a Russell Group university or into employment or training. We review the curriculum every year in order to ensure that we have a suite of courses that will inspire and challenge, as well as create opportunities for success.

Alongside the main curriculum, there is an extensive Enrichment Programme for all key stages. The Enrichment Programme offers a broad and interesting variety of activities before and after the Academy day, which aims to extend and develop what the students study during the day. The girls are given incredible opportunities for visits and we are very proud of the fact that the girls not only learn during lesson time, but also through performance, in productions, on school visits and through our many academic lectures.
